We run CloudLinux across our shared and reseller environments, which utilizes daily vulnerability updates and automated patching without reboots. For database engines and packages that reach community end-of-life, extended lifecycle security patching (including TuxCare / CloudLinux ELS) is utilized so that security patches are backported directly to the installed packages.
This keeps environments secure against vulnerabilities without abruptly forcing major version jumps that could break multiple websites.
